Overview
2020 has been a stressful year, so it’s not surprising that employees are burning out.
You'll learn
Usually when we’re faced with stress in the workplace we can take some time off to recuperate, but 2020 figures show that employees haven’t been taking leave (because for many, there’s nowhere to go!). Outside of stress and too much work, burnout can also come from having too little work, confusing messaging from supervisors or a bad culture.
To add fuel to the fire, the signs of burnout are harder to see in a distributed workforce, where team members may actually be struggling more working from home.
Our expert HR panel will be discussing their experiences with burnout, how it’s impacting their teams and what they’re doing to prevent it. Join our host Gemma Murdoch as she speaks with Catherine Whitehead from Lander and Rogers, Helene Girard from Education Personnel and Ellen Claris from Felix about their experiences.
